The hub is not a blank form. Batch, department, course, and semester are chosen first so every new profile lands in the right stretch of the institution.
From there the clerk either proceeds to a single admission or opens bulk register for the same cohort: the same four selectors, two doors.
Personal identity, prior academics, addresses, admission type, and contacts: five tabs, one submit: Register Student.
College and university roll numbers, category, Aadhaar, board marks, optional JEE Mains, scholarship type, parent mobile: the fields colleges already collect, not a second book.

Each row succeeds or fails on its own. The clerk sees how many registered and which college roll numbers need a fix: partial success is visible, not silent.
Filter by roll number or walk the department → course → semester → batch tree. Open View Profile or Edit Profile from the same grid.
Personal, academic, address, and admission fields stay editable here. Class groups and mentors are managed elsewhere: admission owns identity and cohort, not the teaching assignment.
The student gets a login email. When accounts has a fee structure for that cohort, the fee ledger and pending scholarships attach without a side spreadsheet.
Timetable, attendance, marks, payments, hostel, and leave read that profile. Semester registration is a later student step: it is not the admission screen.
